What is the Autism Assessment Support Practice? AASP is program designed to help autistic children as well as their family develop programs which will help them to reach their goals. It can also help professionals that work with autistic children to further their experience and education so that they can gain the tools and techniques to improve their current abilities. Who can be a part of the Program? The Program is for families with a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and professionals that work with children with autism. When and where are the sessions held? Sessions are held at the AASP Center as well as our specialized outreach program which extends to the houses of the families. Who runs the program? The Program is developed and practiced by a group of internationally qualified consultants in the area of the Autism Spectrum Disorder. The developers are highly qualified professionals who have numerous specific trainings as well as being recognized by the National Autistic Society in South Yorkshire, England. It is an internationally accredited center supported through the European Union. What are the aims of the program? To develop programs that give support and direction to the families involved. To clearly identify a set of goals for each individual child and to develop a program that will direct them towards their success. To support the parent in the understanding and application of techniques and programs that will maximize their child’s skills. To coordinate a team around the child that will include the parent and child. To give supported transferable therapy from the center to the home. What will we learn about?
